Have you ever seen amazing pyramids in Krakow? If not, you should visit four beautiful mounds rose by the citizens of the town, some even hundreds years ago!
First mound is the Krakus Mound at the Krzemionki area built in 17th century with its 16m height. According to the legend that mound is also a grave of prince Krak who set up Krakow.
The second mound, and probably the most famous one, is the Kościuszki Mound, rose between 1820-1823. Its height is 34,1m and it contains soils from the battlefields in Racławice, Maciejowice, Dubienki and American shambles.
The youngest mound's name is the Piłsudskiego Mound built in 1936 – this one is the symbol of the independence of Poland.
